PEI Simulations

This page shows simulations of past PEI elections that use DMP to calculate the outcome. In addition to using a district threshold of 5% and a reserve factor of 15%, the simulations treated PEI as a single region.

2019 PEI Election

This simulation was produced by merging districts to create a 28 seat Legislative Assembly. Since PEI had an odd number of districts in this election, one of the largest ridings (Souris-Elmira) was given an extra MLA

2015 PEI Election

This simulation makes use of redistricting done by Anna Keenan. Districts have been combined to produce a 28 seat Legislative Assembly, which is in line with the current size of 27.
